Dunkin Delight

Mines a Rich Tea

Remember the thick Rich Tea biscuits you used to buy sadly not seen them for some time as can be said for my all time favourites Gypsy Creams but love Custard Creams for dunking. Remember this site its still there but comes up as not secure but take a look if you wish . Nice cup of tea and a sit down, it's been around for years and they review and name biscuit of the week.

I love some of the cafes dotted around the county, when you pull up they have a Yorkshire tea sign somewhere on or in the cafe, but soon as you pour the tea you can tell it is not Yorkshire, some rubbish like Lipton's or cash and carry budget buy

Completely agree, if I see Lipton Tea at a hotel I simply go without. Lichfields is the Cash & Carry tea and yes I think it shows lack of imagination when I'm served that at an independent cafe.

There's loads of independent tea companies which make great tea, The Brew Company, Newby Teas, Teapigs to name but a few, to me Fortnum & Mason are the very best but they cost a fortune....

Went to Girona with friends one of whom had a pocket full of his own tea bags none of us could explain to the waiter that he wanted hot water and milk to make tea, the waiter just stared blankly at us so he just had a pint of San Miguel. Back on track some of the local biscuits from a lovely old shop were really nice cannot recall their name but here's the shop front, pity there was no tea to dunk them in.

Darjeeling for me. Yorkshire tea is much too strong, even with the addition of a lot of oat milk. Earl Grey disagrees with me - must be the bergamot. I don't ordinarily add either milk substitute or sugar to tea, and I don't dunk anything in it.
Yes, I agree. The mere thought of crumbs in my tea is -- not my cup of tea. But, if digestives are offered, I will be glad to have them but not in the tea. And bergamots are a type of citrus fruit, sort of a type of orange and is typically grown in Italy. I think that the zest is used to flavor Earl Grey tea.

I certainly do , giving more thought to dunkin biscuits , featured in Porridge when Grouty "invites" Fletcher to nobble one of the boxers he offers Fletch a Bath Oliver biscuit which I thought were a cracker rather than a sweet biscuit however on name alone they should be good for dunkin.
