Poignantly it's Grand National Weekend , that year Smiler was a 100/1 long shot for the big race with Ladbrokes , trained by Foggy , who else , however , there was a late jockey change with Eli donning the silks and thus the price went out to 1000/1

He didn't talk but he left a whole mailbox of " little messages" on the floor of his stable and in his yard, which is quite unique for Hollywood because in all of the Cowboy pictures , with all those horses , there is not even one " Sentence" let alone " Message" littering the streets
