I've just noticed its 3 years today I joined the forum ( Don't say it Dick :46:)

So 3 years ago today I went to Holmfirth for the first time, been back about 8 times now, its a long way to go for fish and chip but well worth it. I think its time to plan another trip. :biggrin:
 
Pearl, where do you live? I was assuming in the UK but if
you so rarely get to H'firth I wonder. We get to H'firth
about once a year, but we must cross an ocean to do it.
 
I live in the East Midlands its about 2 hours away. I try and get up there as often as possible but family commitments mean it works out about 3 times a year.

I might be having a senior moment here. We have been communicating on and off over the years, but weren't you here longer, under the name Susan???? Anyway, I recall you being here over the three years.

Plus, almost 5 thousand posts in three years! Wow! I could have sworn that included a span of over three years.

Yes Cod, senior moment avoided I was Susan to start with then turned into Pearl :D I've only been here 3 years, it just seems longer, I have that effect on people :D As for all the posting I'm just a big blabber mouth :D

Just kidding. But the only 3 years part threw me off. I thought you were here longer than me.

Seems like eternity Cod, I'm shocked I haven't been kicked off. I'm the worst driver of topics, always steering them into edge bottoms :D

Maybe I should change my name to Edie :-[

.... actually just checked and have been here nearly six years and from the member's list I would say that apart from Terry, I am the almost the longest serving fairly regular poster although Dick may beat me as he had name change which re-set his profile.

But how come, all these people who have been here less time have posted more?:30::30::30:

Congratulations Pearl, I have terrible secret :- I have never been to Holmfirth !! even though I must be only a couple of hours a way. Shhh don't tell any one.
