Wally's whippet was featured in several episodes, enough that it should have been credited as a cast member. Today, not only the dog but also the trainer would get credits. As it was, the lovely little creature didn't even have a name in the show.
Wendy Richard's own dog appeared in the last episode of 'Grace and Favour'. Dog's Name: "Shirley Brahms".

Which he mistook for a sheep in one episode. Does that count as an separate answer?
Also the lamb that managed to open Seymour's door lock. I think it was Dried Dates and Codfanglers.

How many legs did the dinosaur have?
I can't confirm whether the one featured was a real live one or a prop, perhaps Terry could confirm with his on-set experiences?
