Happy Birthday Forum

Today the forum is 7 years old and with close on 80,000 posts it is still going strong,I also would like to remember a couple of members that have left us over the last couple of years and that was Big Unc and George.

Happy Birthday to the Forum , more power to the keyboard of all members. In other threads when Big Unc and George have been mentioned I often thought about suggesting if some sort of memento commemorating their love of all things LOTSW could be left in Holmfirth or at one of the famous locations by one of the members passing through or who live local . I apologise in advance if this has been proposed and undertaken already. It wouldn't have to be anything elaborate but did show reverence to their memory and in a location that reflects their passion for the show.

At the church opposite the Cafe they often have a memorial tree, next time I go I'll leave a leaf for them.

Thank you Pearl that would be nice . I am sure the members would really appreciate if you were able to take a photograph of the memorial after you have left the leaf and post on the site . It would be nice to have a permanent reminder of George and Big Unc not only in Holmfirth but also the photograph will remain on the site for anyone wishing to view.
