Thank you so so much Roger as soon as I read your response it all came flooding back , the show I was thinking of was It takes a Worried Man which he also penned. He is insecure and is worried about his hair and teeth leaving him at a rapid rate the credits depict him staring and grey in colour and then his face starts to crack and drop off.
