There is a Wimpy bar which opened in Shrewsbury about 5 years ago and it’s still there. Perhaps they’re making a small comeback, hopefully Little Chef may follow suit

Little Chef is now the Diminutive Culinary Expert, the other one the Happy Eater is coming back as the Ecstatic Gourmet

Menu has changed in Wimpy when you compare but nice to see they retained the bender or hot dog wrapped around half a tomato plus the other big difference now is they publish the nutritional information on the menu for each dish. Thinking back, after clubbing and drinking god knows what, I surely would have been a bit more health conscious if they'd only published that back in the day and maybe erred on the side of caution about what I picked to eat

We had a Wimpy Restaurant in my town when I was very young. It then got replaced by a Hatters restaurant. Even after that closed the sign stayed hanging up for years.
