I've just joined the forum, but I've known about LOTSW since "Getting on Sid's Wire" was broadcast on PBS in the late 70s. There is truly no other show to compare with it & I am proud to join this group.
 
Hello and a warm welcome to the forum that oozes appreciation for this great show . Whilst we were saddened by it demise after the BBC cancelled it that is far outweighed by the love for the show . I hope you enjoy your time on the forum and I look forward to your contributions to the posts . I always suggest that new members may wish to take some time to look at the photo section of the site . One of members in particular is to be applauded for the work he has done of capturing stills from the show , then visited the location as it is today and taken a photograph to offer a contrast between the then and now . :)
