Agreed, but I do feel Holmfirth does have an acute shortage of parking presently. Every time I've been the Co-Op car park it always seems full.

yes, but it's not expensive, time per £ varies between car parks. (Bearing in mind I've been used to paying £5.50 / hour in Brum!)

Do you know if he's had any joy selling the business, it seems quite odd to spend the money on a new minibus if he's retiring ?

Possibly a bit of misinformation. Maybe considered selling up when he couldn't get insurance. I suspect doing these tours is in his blood.

We use the co op carpark too we usually get there before 9 and it's busy. I think the price is quite reasonable, I think I paid about £4 last time.

To be honest I don't, there might be the odd short term free parking, maybe 30 minutes, you could have a word with Foggy he was offering a valet service

Sometimes you can park on the Greenfield Rd incline, a right turn a little after the Wrinkled stockings.

Definitely won't be me! Our very own Wesley aka Graham knows a lot more about the mechanics of cars than me, but I recall from riding in the old vehicle that the switchgear looked like it was from an early 90's BL vehicle so I don't think it was truly vintage!

That's the general consensus anywhere these days unless you find a nice gap on a quiet back street. But beware the ghost of Pearl doesn't welcome such folk
