Watching The Black Widow this evening, Compo was talking with Foggy and referred to Cleggy as "Norman". I can only ever remember him using "Norm" or "Cleggy". Can anyone recall any other occasion where he used Cleggy's full Christian name?

I think he did in Why Does Norman Clegg Buy Ladies Elastic Stockings, when their in the cafe I think he says " Now listen Norman... Listen listen, if you ever need a friend......... But not too close a friend"

I' m sure if I'm wrong I'll be shot down like grouse in August!


I surely can't be right twice in one night???

Another Norman in Keeping Britain Tidy, just after they find the matress, another mockingly serious moment.

Also Woolen Mills for Your mind, in the cafe after ivy nags Foggy about walking on her floor.I cannot remember the quote though.
 
Possibly a bit like me being called Rodney - if that happened I knew I was in trouble - reserved for special occasions.
