I remember hearing something about Cliff Richard as his early music has now fallen out of copyright so he no longer gets royalties on songs like Move It. I suppose no one expected artists to have such long careers....
 
That's quite scary really. Imagine being in your early 50s, today, 2022, and you are going to make a half hour programme to be shown next year. (Like Peter Sallis in 1972.)

And then, that you will continue making more episodes until 2059, the last to be shown in 2060.

I haven't even thought about years like 2040, 2050, 2060 - they don't even sound like years.

And, at the moment at least, they seem so far away.
