Rag and Bone men , never see a Horse and Cart bedecked in old clothes and bric a brac trotting around the street with the Totter often perched on the side of the cart , legs dangling , reins in hand. Now we take the old clothes to either Charity Shops or Static Bins and the metal is nabbed by groups of blokes scouring the area with their flatbed transits.

Once or twice Compo has his set taken back because he hasn't been able to afford the payments, & mentions he leaves his front door unlocked so they can pick it up when he's out!
