Whoops! I didn't actually look at the episode, had assumed I was right about the red triangle part. If it had been the red triangle, it would've been "Bass" missing in the Bass Ale sign. Good job, George. I was thinking this was from Captain Clutterbuck's Treasure.

When we were lads, my mate, Mick, and me used to go in the Victoria Hotel at Sandy Lane and buy half of Webster's Pennine Bitter each and sit in the tap room and play darts, (151), all night. The Landlord, Jack Thomas, told my Dad he prefered that, to us wondering round the streets. How times change!!
