Have to say that series 13 isn't anywhere near one of my favourites so haven't watched it much.

The whole "Compo is jealous of Smiler " scene grates on my nerves at times! I thought it was carried on too long. :

I found that idea somewhat boring at the time, because if I recall correctly, it went on for about four or so episodes and was over exhausted as a situation, IMHO as one states!!

I know others like it,. but I thought that series 13 was the lowest point that the show ever reached, dull story lines, poor filming, repetetive nonsense and I remember being in UNi years and forsaking my love of he show bacause of it. I know I had other more pressing considerations then, but time hasn't healed y view of that series. It was the lowest point for me.
