A tremendous actor.I well remember him as the one armed dishwasher in Robin's Nest

Hadn't heard this until just now.

I will remember him from Robin's Nest, Cowboys, Fawlty Towers and The Italian Job.

I gather recently he was in the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Sad news indeed.I remember him from Fawlty Towers and Cowboys,etc and always thought he was extremely funny.
