Robin Williams has been found dead at home in California. Suicide is suspected as he had been battling severe depression. He joins the line of comics and clowns for whom the tears became too much. SAD LOSS. :'(

I was shocked last night to hear this. It seems the funnier they are the more pain their hiding. Very sad.

Very sad loss, I enjoyed so much of what Robin did.
It does seem that some of our greatest comedians/entertainers suffered from depression of some form or another, the first comparison that sprang to mind when I heard this sad news was of Tony Hancock, another great suffering from extreme bipolar.

I was on holiday when this news broke. I was woken at 2.am to be told that it had just broken on the radio. He was a big hero of mine. I have al l his stand up DVDS. A true Legend. Rest in peace Robin.
