Blamire and Hyacinth Bouquet cannot see Blamire being as henpecked as Richard . Alternatively Penelope Keith as Margo Leadbetter the contrast would be so diverse and so funny.

I'm not sure a strong character opposite him would have worked, they would've just spent the entire scenes arguing which would have been tiresome. I'm thinking someone more passive but I can't think who though sorry!
