The X-Type does look very similar but I think you're right! When I think about it can't imagine Toby driving a X-Type as it was effectively a rebadged Ford Mondeo !

On the subject of Toby's car this picture here is definitely an X-Type, it's very difficult to distinguish from the XJ as the bonnet creases are almost identical. But as usual Roger is probably correct, the headlights are rounder on the XJ which I think points to it being an XJ?
