Err, you're right. For some reason his death was (re-) announced on the BBC website this morning. Wierd!Errrrr.....I thought he died back in 2017?

Its close but not quite two years since he died [ 23/5/17] so its a genuine BBC mistake . I remember watching Ivanhoe as a kid and each episode was swiftly followed by reconstructing a sword fight or joust with friends outside using sticks and branches from the local woods at the top of our street , elf and safety would put a stop to such japes these days.
