How many times did we see a TV or anyone watching TV during the shows run . I'll start with when Compos TV was taken away in one of the first episodes
The Last Surviving Maurice Chevalier Impression - 'Look up North' and featuring Gorden Kaye in one of my favourite guest turns. |
The New Mobile Trio from s1 I think. Can't recall the episode, but in either s1 or 2 Clegg is watching a TV set on a driving simulator.
He was just listening to his radio in this episode AdrianI think Compo was watching the TV in Spring Fever. But I could be wrong.

You do see the TV in Spring Fever but only briefly. You see it showing the BBC1 test card indicating that he had been watching it until the end of transmission. He was just listening to his radio in this episode Adrian

Hiyas @mashibinbin I thought Gorden was great in this episode. Only know of him from 'Allo, 'Allo which is another great series. I take it you have seen it as well?

I have and it's a joy from start to finish! The initial casting is spot on right until and including the arrival of 'zat annoying wop, Bertorelli. His, the subsequent (It is them) LeClercs and the last series Herr Flick are pale imitations. Look out for Gorden in the Porridge film and Are you Being Served? too.Hiyas @mashibinbin I thought Gorden was great in this episode. Only know of him from 'Allo, 'Allo which is another great series.
