Vehicles in the series

Can we see how observant we can be,over the many years there has been many differnet vehicles seen/used in the series,I am talking about real vehicles and not the crazy things Wesley used to make,there are some that were seen many times,Edie's Triumph herald,Wesley's Land Rovers,Entwisle's Truck and the various Police cars

But what about the many others either used in the series or seen in the background,lets have your spottings and maybe tales that you have owned such a vehicle in the past,there is a great history of British motoring during the span of the show,I watched the pilot show the other evening and think I spotted the following

A Morris Minor Van
I Could not work out what the TV rental Van was
A Wolsey Hearse
A Morris 1800
Ford Cortina Mk3
Morris 1100
Triumph Herald
VW Beetle
Cortina MK1 & Mk 2

There were others seen in the show but I could not be sure of make or model

It would be handy if you tell us what series and episode or episode title you spot these vehicles in, Terry
 
Now here's a good topic. I shall keep my peepers open. I always like watching an episode from a new and different angle.
 
Agree - a very simple but appealing task. Barry has made a lot of progress in his motors over the years and Wesley has had a few more straight forward ones - like a hearse he bought himself for Christmas and so on.

Wesley had UKH 45R as a Land Rover truck

Walking stiff can make you famous - prgramme 4

I noted he had WCW 684Y as the Land Rover

Barry had an older white car
 
episode 172 Pony Set (series 19)

The Land rover is Q126 JWX

and Barry's car is R446 RGC

by episode 183 Lipstick and other problems (20th)

Barry has a Navy Mondeo T977 JLH - it was about here that he started with a new car each series

but Wesley was working on D204 TAU
 
I think George is right. I can't remember the title of the episode it was in mind.
 
;D Talking vehicles, I forget the title of the episode but it was the one with the giant panda.The two p.c.s were ruminating over the question of why "panda car??" Yet they were sat in a "jam sandwich " patrol car! :D

Yes there was a light bronze finish Humber used as the wedding car: lovely motor with all that walnut fascia and dials.

Humbers actually showed the petrol capacity in gallons, a gauge for brake opressure, an ammeter and so on. Mine only had one problem - above 50 the speedo swung from between 60 to 140 (forutnatly prior to speed cameras).

Eventually a core plug melted on the M40 and had to be towed away! Beautiful motor - help, I am sounding just like Wesley!
 
In the Seymour era I noticed the following:


D104 ... a land Rover driven by Mrs Cornwall-Harris (whom Seymour was trying to impress - shades of Hyacinth Bouquet with Councillor Mrs Nugent and theere was also a lady with a double-barelled surname).

TUM 227M a yellow Renault being repaired by Wesley in The Experiment and Treasure of the Deep: from what I recall of those cars most likely to be "being repaired" and the Triumph Herald convertible (J reg'd) was seen being pushed by the lads in Dancing Feet - before it became Edie's car.
 
Let's not forget Howard's giant white van and Marina's little lemon yellow car, maybe some sort of Mini.
