If your on about the series 2 libarians there names were Miss Probert and Miss Jones. the series 1 assistant with Mr Wainwright was called Mrs Partridge, the series 3 assistant was called Miss Moody and of course Josephine Tewsons Character in the later series was Miss Davenport, there was an episode from series 13 where Foggy asks for books on silent killing, although the libarian isn't given a name then the women that played her was actually Brian Wilde's wife.
