The mind of Wesley Pegdon, gave us many great things over the years. What was your favorite? I think his submarine, in Treasure of the Deep, had to be mine, and it actually worked..
 
It's that race car, the very first thing he did. And as always, there was that cloud of smoke that distracted everyone from looking too closely at the car.

That sofa had a little trick up its "arm" and sort of slid sideways. It was not in the script, but they wrote it off to serendipity and it was used!

Speaking of sofas, once at work I wrote up a purchase request for a small sofa, only I used the item name, exactly as it was stated in the catalog. The big boss, who typically signed off on these requests, saw the request for a Love Seat -- and -- that was the end of that.
 
The Mad Mobile for Smedley annual fair springs to mind.
Or the bed Mobile. Was this the same thing ?
