Bill Owen was a well known musician. They occasionally used this talent for Compo from singing a few words to full production numbers.
When did we first hear Compo sing?
 
Clue Time: This first time Compo sang it was only 4 words before his pals shut him up. It certainly didn't show off his talent either.
