Wonderful intricate tricks of the trade thank you for sharing , I don't suppose you managed to witness any of the stunts with the doubles filming them especially the dangerous ones which presumably would be Stuart Fell.

The stuntman I recall seeing in a couple of episodes was Ricky Ash, he was Alvin in the swinging into water in The Swan Man, he was also on roller skates in another episode,this time as truly

IMDB has Stuart as the Coordinator from 1979 -2008 as well as Stuntman in 27 episodes so imagine he would be directing the stunts most of the time .

Anyway, one superfan who seemed to know his stuff about LOTSW I met at the 50th Anniversary said that Ronnie Corbett was originally supposed to play Kevin in this episode and Mark Currie had to step in last minute. I'm not sure if this is true or not but can anyone else comment on the veracity of this???
