There appears to be a rumour that You Rang M'Lord could be getting an audio sequel. I know podcasts are popular now but do you think an audio sequel of any programme would be popular?

My thoughts on this are mixed. Whilst It Stick out Half a MIle - the Dad's Army radio sitcom spinoff worked to an extent it really benefitted by being not too long after the tv run of Dad's Army had finished. The writers had already prteviously adapted Dad's Army for television and had a good grasp of the characters. This one however could go either way. I wish it well but more recent retreads of Perry/Croft haven't been great - the Allo Allo reunion special work purely as a one off and had the original cast in good number but the new Are you Being Served felt at best a slightly misguided tribute.

Ok a revamp of Hi Di Hi sounds interesting. If it restart from scratch who would you like to see as
Ted
Peggy
Spike
Geoffrey fairbrother
Clive Dempster
Gladys
The Twins
Yvonne
Howard

I think the longer you wait to do sequel the less likely it is to succeed. I agree the reason the Dad's Army radio sort of worked was because it was still fresh in people's minds but after all this time I'm not sure it would work now, they're aren't many that remember the original unfortunately because I thought it was really good and have been lucky enough to find the dvds.
