Yes we do get it here but haven't seen the final series yet.

I enjoyed the first five series very much. It got dark and dramatic in season six and seven. I wonder why that happened?

Kids turning into teens. Also the tragedy (withholding spoiler) that is mentioned from time to time in Big Bang Theory series.
