It does Marianna , I stayed in Whitby at one of the many great B and B's and travelled by bus to Scarborough, Staithes and Saltburn whose Funicular was working :) -

Was curious to learn more on the funicular in Scarborough. Interesting that they are parked overnight side by side.

We stop off in Hawes occasionally on the way to Leyburn( lovely market town) Great chippy, some good little walks, interesting architecture and a decent couple of pubs.
