    Funniest Television Couple Ever?

Oliver Wendell Douglas and Lisa Douglas (Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor) in Green Acres take some beating, but I agree, Wally and Nora were great. "Talk to me, you never talk to me" *Look at the view we've come to look at the view"

    Series 6 Favourite Episode

Absolutely impossible. As a whole series I feel this is the best one ever, every episode is a gem. I'll vote for one but I don't know which one yet.

    Vehicles

Just a guess - was it the car Howard bought and then got chased by the owner.

    Who is this

I've changed it to negative, greyscale, pixelised it, blurred it, and a few others. The only thing I can think of is an overhead view of Holmfirth showing the cafe and church; with the road on the left (is it Huddersfield Road).

    G.O.L.D's LOTSW December Specials listings

I wonder if they will show the more recent ones in the wider screen format. They recently aired Extra Extra and that was shown in 4:3. Rob

    Teddington 21st November 2009 - filming LOTSW

We attended the middle two episodes and we had a wonderful time. The first of the two was, in my opinion one of Howard's finest. The idea of having the series in a serial format is good. As ever, Entwhistle and Alvin were excellent. Rob

    First of the Summer WIne

I always like to think Sherbet was Sid but there are things from FOTSW that don't match up with things that Ivy has said. I certainly don't want to think that Sherbet didn't return because he was such a likeable young man. I've never thought of him being Truly before but the nickname Sherbet...

    Seymour's House

Hallo Sue - it's nice to be here. That explains the mystery of the pond, I was looking at Google Earth yesterday and the pond didn't look right. Seymour was a great character and apparently Michael was a joy to work with.

    There Goes The Groom...

I think the biggest problem with Uncle of the Bride was the fact that they didn't know Seymour, but in later episodes it was obvious they knew him from school. This aside I got to really like the film, and Seymour became a great favourite with me. Frank Thornton as Truly was a piece of casting...

    Seymour's House

Does anyone know the story behind the house used as Seymours home. We only saw it in Uncle of the Bride, the first series and a special. Rob
