I cannot get this song out of my head at the moment , its one of my favourites and hats off to the person who put this video with it . It got me thinking and I have been trying , unsuccessfully, to match some of the verses with LOTSW characters ,made more difficult because we don't know most of the casts surnames [of course the actor Lionel Blair who guest starred in an episode already appears in the song] .

I found myself using characteristics and other analogies but cannot get a rhyme so far . Obviously Herbert Truelove, Norma Clegg etc are there but others aren't blessed with a surname . I started with "I'm not Howard Sibshaw , your not Marina Blonde , I'm not Smiler Handcart " and then I got stuck.

I was wondering if we collectively could put something together , I would be delighted for any help at this stage. :):):)
 
I had a go but found it hurt my brain so I’ve gone for just shouting out characters names a la TV Stars by the Skids :)

I spent a toe tapping Saturday afternoon at the brilliant Blues Bar in Harrogate a couple of Saturday's ago lots of brilliant tracks played , a few jivers and lindy hoppers from a local dance group were in attendance offering a great afternoon's entertainment . This track was one of many that made the afternoon.

RIP Mani. We got to see the Stone Roses a few times early on in their career at small gigs in Manchester and got to see his first gig with the band in Manchester in ‘87.

Genuinely shocked yesterday , he's been in the spotlight lately seen at Ozzy's funeral and announcing the talk in tour next year , to be in two hugely successful bands is astounding. It is a very sad loss.
 
Another shock announcement came out of the blue yesterday , one of the original artist who broke Reggae in the UK with the likes of Desmond Dekker , Prince Buster and all the Trojan Record stars who Chris Blackwell but particularly Lee Gupthal brought to the UK . A very sad day becoming all to common now as we also age. As a tribute here's an early single from 62
