In episodes in some of the later series where scenes are shot in front of the fireplace I have noticed a number of tropies on the fire surround and in a cabinet to its left...I laughed, they couldn't be for sporting prowess I think...but maybe one is for tiddlywinks and another for holding coats at rugby matches....any other thoughts..

Thanks , A Christmas Story,1983 movie (time i believe early 40's), used Ovaltine commercial on the radio. I had never heard that theme song. One in the same.

Ovaltine, a chocolate mix you put in your milk, had a contest in the 50s ish for little boys and girls. Thus, the trophy joke.
