Same here. We own a drier, but we never use it. Never iron either as Mum says there's no need if the wasing dries on the line OK.

I've never owned a drier in my life and can't say I've missed it, from what I hear they cost a bomb to run and shorten the life of clothes. Modern life is rubbish

True. That's why we don't use it for ordinary washing. Occasionally Mum uses it for bed sheets or curtains, but only very rarely.

Wellyman, I think chiggers leave you with tiny itchy bumps all over your skin. I got them once when I was a kid, from sleeping on the carpet at a friend's.
