Yes but ... the last Hobo series has been, in some
listings, shown as Series 31 (depending on the old
Series 9 bit).

So the unseen (as yet) series would really be
Series 32!!

I think I read some where that in the US, they have more or less (Can't remember which) episodes in a series. Is that true? So they may have a series 31 :)

Susan, we in the US have no more nor no less series nor episodes.
We all source from the exact same set of programs, not matter
the contents of our available DVDs.

When the Beeb separated the episodes from what had been Series
9 into Series 9 and Series 10 strictly to accommodate the contents
of their DVDs, that kinda screwed things up.

If you look at imdb, post the 9/10 mess, you will see that Series 31
is the last series, a Hobbo series that starts with Behind Every Bush and
ends with How Not To Cry at Weddings.

Thank you for clearing that up, I wasn,t sure if I read it right and it was some time ago. What series have been released in the US so far?

Never have bought a US SW DVD. Sorry.

But go to www.amazon.com (yes, the US stores)
and search on Last of the Summer Wine and check the
DVD box. There are lots of them. I was about to list the
discs by series, but the US versions are all fouled up
sequence-wise. Even though I live in the US, I buy the
UK versions when they come out. The rest I have traded
and/or downloaded off TheBox.bz.

So as Terry states, an entire Series was made an not released!?!?
I originally interpreted that as some episodes from the 2010 Series 31 (Behind Every Bush....- How Not To Cry...) that were never released.

But does this now mean an actual series (32) was actually made and never released????? I am anxious to hear the final answer because that is HUGE. This is especially after I just developed a liking for the Hobbo years!

No, that was the April Fool joke!!

Looks like I put too much trust and faith into you Summer wine experts! LOL.

Oh well, life will go on without the high expectations.

Selected episodes from Series 1 and 2 in a collection and then so far Series 3 to Series 13 out at this moment with Series 14 coming out either next week or the week after. We're slowly catching up.

I hope that when the whole series has finally been completed they bring it out on those DeAgostini monthly things where you buy a magazine with a dvd every month.
