There is still confusion or maybe frustration over the positioning of the Quick Reply box.
Normally it will display at the bottom of all thread pages. If, however you have chosen to display the latest post first (from your preferences) the quick reply box will also display at the top of page(s).

What do YOU want?
 
To be fair to Pearl "Quick" is a very generic term, its difficult to quantify what it means in terms of a precise period . For example if you take Quicksand if you are in it up to your neck then it could still take an age for you to both go under or be rescued. If you look at the Quickstep , on Strictly I imagine it would be performed at speed however at your Average Senior Tea Dance I imagine it would be slow, slow, slow , slow..........quick..........slow and if it was Smiler at the dance then the band would have long stopped playing before he finished the dance . In my opinion there is no such thing as a "Quick Cup of Tea" well not in any of these so called Coffee Bars/Cafe's takes hours to get the Tea bags to colour and flavour the hot water.

However, according to the press women are united as one in condemning men for being allegedly "too Quick" , citing the example if the world was to end in 5 minutes , there would still be time to enjoy your last Boiled Egg and Soldiers :08::08::08::08:

I had hoped my definitions of various quick items would in some way mitigate your original post but apparently my Giddy [Agony] Aunt approach :13: has maybe not helped you, so I have used Quick drying glue on my lips and so sadly for this topic my lips are now sealed , so gest of gluck gith the grest gof gis gread [ as you can see I need to hone my ventriloquial skills]

I did answer but almost didn't because though I have a preference, it's not a big deal and I'm willing to work with it either way. Probably most people didn't answer because they are leaving to those who feel strongly about it.

I asked the question because it had caused some comments early on. I thought more people would want to say their piece! :08: How little did I know!! o_O
