What do you think the characters favorite sweets would be? I'm sure Pearl would have like a sweet with a hard centre!!!!!

Mavis Poskitt used to like mint humbugs at school.

Rainbow Pips and I’m still partial to an Uncle Joes Mint Ball. I have never been able to find something I used to love and that is bizarrely Mint Shrimps. They were hard pink Shrimp shaped sweets but flavoured with mint.

Fizz bombs. Foam bananas Rhubarb and Custard

Oh Fizz Bombs, they were great especially the strawberry ones.

Howard, Sid , Wally and Wesley would love to give Pearl, Ivy,Nora and Edie everlasting Gobstoppers the bigger the better.

Barkers blackcurrant and liquorice.....or sour apples....or a really good pear drop.....infact.......ANY sweet that made the roof of your mouth or your tongue bleed !!!!!!.........keep away from the Old English Humbugs....your muzzy will get stained....like Alvin's does eventually !!!

What about Everton mints!!????

You know what Barry......every game we have a young girl dressed in long blue and white Victorian clothes [ because of old ma' Nobblet's toffee shop which was thriving in 1878 when Everton were founded] walking around the pitch at five minutes before kick off with a basket full of Everton mints......throwing them into the crowd......and even though I have watched them for 4 decades plus I HAVE NEVER CAUGHT ONE !!!!!!!!!
