Something my friends and I use to call each other was "dirty birdie" lol Mom had shown us this Stephen King movie, Misery, and that was a line and we just thought it was so funny, we started using it! Lol To be fair, we're all deranged enough to think a horror movie called Misery is funny, so it makes sense that we would take that line and use it! Lol

Key words often are generated by trends someone starts it and everyone jumps on the bandwagon , other words get classed eventually by these so called trendsetters as " So yesterday" . A good few years ago a simple " goodbye" was turned into "Ciao"

In the Paul Temple plays that are occasionally broadcast on Radio 4 Extra, to express shocked surprise he'd say "By Timothy!". I've no idea of the origins of the phrase, but it's so endearing.
