hey it's dianeh9007@aol.com. I hope it works. I was a member for years then lost Internet for 2 days. When I had to sign in to get back on, I messed up the password and they kicked me out. I'm hoping it will go thru after many months. Got all my LOTSW episodes that way !
Thanks for your suggestions ! tvchaosuk claims my actual I.P. has been banned so I don't think there's any way around it. They were just recovering from a major attack and there here I come blundering in, forgetting my info. DUH.
Thanks anyway,
I'll try the kat.cr.......still sad though. Chaos was the best. I could scroll down and see most anything that had been shown in the UK the same day, download it and save it for later.
Oh well, needs must. I will move on.
Thanks
Di
I am broken-hearted after losing my account on a popular bit-torrent site that carries only UK TV shows. I won't show the name, but the word Chaos is in the title. My Internet got interrupted and I had to log in for the first time in 2 years. Couldn't get the name/password correct, so they cut...
Thanks for all the info. I guess I assumed the old Back Lane location had been demolished, hence the change. Interesting stuff !
BTW I need to thanks whoever answered my post last fall about how to get to Holmsfirth from Barnsley. My sister (we live in Oregon) followed the advice to a tee and...
Can anyone help me out with which episode this might be? My sister has a distinct memory of Barry dressing up as a rocker/punk rocker, but I can't recall.
Thanks
Di

My sister is visiting Yorkshire in October, and is excited since she hasn't been to the UK since 1980 or so.
She will be staying in the country near Cawthorne, Barnsley and as a huge fan of Summerwine (as am I !) would love to get to Holmfirth...
Have to agree with many here on the dismal choice of American comedy. MASH is probably the best ever, although it got old when Alan Alda took over all the writing/directing/acting for himself.
I wanted to be British so badly that in '72 I bought a one-way ticket from Oregon to London...
Absolutely my favorite episode...sorry if the spelling is wrong. Even with the expansion of characters, they all seem to come together so well in this episode. Liz Fraser is so beautiful, and the guys rection to Compo's "Thursday" is perfect. So is Barry and his "mobile finger".
Once a year or...
Oops...thought I had posted this earlier, my apology if it shows twice.
Here in Oregon I've downloaded the series for free from thebox.bz. Each series comes out to just under 4GB, and I now have them ALL in a nice not-so-little binder.
It's a bit hard to get going and I paid for a bit of the GB...
