Interesting info about the buses.After watching, Getting Sam Home,i was surprised that the van was even allowed on the roads let alone sell food from but maybe things wernt so strict in those days and folk not so fussy ;D
I would be inclined to think that Ivy had a good little business going.As others have mentioned there was the coach party type of trade,outside catering and she often mentioned,"me morning rush" plus her usual customers.
I once made a comment about never seeming to see anyone in a saddlers shop in my home town.The other replied that if the shop wasnt doing a bit of good business then they wouldnt be there.Twenty to twenty five years later,that shop is still there.
