Does remind me a bit of how I feel sorry for dealers on these antique shows where expert knocks the dealer right down on some item and then sells it at auction for far more than the original asking price. And I likewise feel a sense of unfairness where someone picks up a snip in a charity shop which makes a massive profit at auction.
But then, of course, everyone knows I am all heart!
As a friend of mine who used to be a designer for BBC Tv and then went on to run his own antiques business told me "if it sells too quickly you have priced it too low, if it does not sell then the price was too high!"
