I remember being on a 12 hour Nightshift for a couple of weeks in Dundrum telephone exchange back in 1984. The R&B and smooth jazz elements of Private Dancer lent itself so well to all night radio and the song was played 3 or 4 times every night while we worked there. I absolutely loved that song. I was just listening to this while I'm waiting for my best friend to get here. I like Olivia Rodrigo. I first heard her on TikTok and then on the radio while I was driving and then looked her up on YouTube and found this song, which is one of my favorites by her.
